Tuesday Archives - Harvest Button Napkin Rings
Today's theme for Val's Quilting Studio Tuesday Archives linky party is "Buttons", and the photo above shows the Modge-Podged buttons I made for some crocheted napkin rings last November. My original post is HERE.
The napkin rings were a gift for a blogging friend, and they were the first crochet project I had attempted in years!

Those are so cute! I am terrible at the yarn arts. My work starts out okay and then gets tighter and tighter until I can't get the needles in. I might be able to handle this project. I missed the original post so I'm heading there now!
ReplyDeleteLol Gayle, my stitches get tight also. I have to force myself to get "loopier". ;)
DeleteWhat a great idea. I'm going to read how you made the buttons. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Basically I fussy-cut fabric and used Modge-Podge to secure it. I used a tapestry needle to create holes in the stiff fabric after it dried overnight. I just updated my original post to include that info!
DeleteThese are precious.
ReplyDeleteThank you Miss Pattie!
DeleteGreat napkins rings and the buttons are brilliant! What a fantastic idea! Christine x
