The texture is much tighter and they are not crumbly. I used Carnation Vanilla Malted Milk Powder in the dough. For the crushed malted milk balls I used Whoppers that came in a milk carton-type packaging at Walgreen's.Pattie @ Olla-Podridahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17347912758342365514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4925931758682187912.post-51008008019374856422015-05-06T15:45:30.288-05:002015-05-06T15:45:30.288-05:00Lol Pattie! My paternal grandmother intended to make a twin quilt for each of her three granddaughters, but she ran out of steam, and I, being the youngest of the three, only got the cross-stitched top. I have no idea whatever happened to it. I suspect that of us three girls, I would have treasured it the most. You did a beautiful job here.Pattie @ Olla-Podridahttp://pattietierney.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4925931758682187912.post-82944317063586013312015-05-05T17:27:46.058-05:002015-05-05T17:27:46.058-05:00Thank you Christine - I wish Mrs. Hunter could see...Thank you Christine - I wish Mrs. Hunter could see it. :)Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04153228502785993376noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4925931758682187912.post-59573264971520908072015-05-05T17:05:29.082-05:002015-05-05T17:05:29.082-05:00You have done a fabulous job finishing this quilt ...You have done a fabulous job finishing this quilt Linda!
